UA-ONLY DEGREE EXAMINATION SESSION

 

 

UPLOAD OF EXAMINATION DATES ON UACLOUD

(March - April 2017)

  • The Facilities Management Office sets up the 2017-2018 examination sessions on UACloud's teaching facilities and examination management app (Espacios docentes y exámenes).
  • The Facilities Management Office notifies UA centres that examination dates can be uploaded.

INITIAL LECTURE ROOM ALLOCATION

2017-2018 ACADEMIC YEAR

(February - March - April 2017)

  • Lecture rooms are allocated for official university studies (except PhD degree programmes).
  • The Facilities Management Office:
    • Manages lecture room allocation by centre.
    • Creates timetable templates.
    • Allocates facilities to UA centres and departments on UXXI.
  • Once these tasks are completed, UA centres are notified of the initial lecture room allocation.

 TIMETABLE UPLOAD

From 10 April to 21 June 2017

 

 

  • UA centres and departments upload their course timetables on Universitas XXI. The lecture rooms, slots and periods allocated by the Facilities Management Office must be used.
  • Each centre must decide whether it uploads both theoretical and practical session timetables or, conversely, if departments are tasked with uploading practical session timetables.
  • The timetable upload period on Universitas XXI starts on 10 April and finishes on 21 June 2017.

EXTRA LECTURE ROOM ALLOCATION FOR OFFICIAL STUDIES

(June - July 2017)

  • UA centres must request their extra needs to the Facilities Management Office.
  • Lecture rooms are allocated by the Facilities Management Office to meet these requests concerning courses for which no appropriate facilities or time slots could be assigned after the first lecture room allocation.
  • Allocation period: from 26 June to 31 July 2017.

LECTURE ROOM ALLOCATION FOR OTHER ACTIVITIES

(July - October 2017)

  • From July 2017 onwards, lecture rooms are allocated by the Facilities Management Office for the remaining university activities.

CHANGES

(July - October 2017)

  • The Facilities Management Office makes the changes requested by UA centres and other units. It should be noted, however, changes can be requested and implemented throughout the whole academic year if centres and departments need it.
  • During this period and throughout the rest of the academic year, facilities are allocated for other UA-run teaching and cultural activities.

  • The Facilities Management Office emails UA centres on 18 September 2017 to inform them that the examination session ends on 25 September, after which lecture room allocation starts.
  • The allocation must be published not later than one week before each exam.
  • No lecture rooms will be allocated for examinations with fewer than ten registered students.
  • The Facilities Management Office will only process examination change requests from UA centres.
  • Lessons will not be suspended during this examination period.

  • This examination session will be closed on UACloud. UA centres must request all examinations by email to the Facilities Management Office.
  • The Facilities Management Office will upload the requested dates and allocate lecture rooms on UACloud.
  • If the examination dates coincide with an official examination session, lecture rooms will be allocated only once all requests for the official session have been processed.
  • The Facilities Management Office will only process examination change requests from UA centres.
